We’re developing a bioregional textile system across Lancashire, Merseyside, Cumbria, Cheshire, Yorkshire, Greater Manchester, County Durham, Tyne and Wear and Northumberland centred around local fibres, local dyes and local labour. From seed to skin and soil to soil, we’re supporting fibre and dye professionals wishing to create regenerative fashion and textiles.
We aim to identify, galvanise and promote a community of bioregional fibre and dye professionals interested in transitioning from extractive textile manufacturing processes to more regenerative systems. This might include farmers, spinners, weavers, dyers, educators, makers and manufacturers.
