The Green Street Pioneers Newcastle initiative is a programme dedicated to helping businesses become more environmentally sustainable. We’re working with 40 independent businesses in the heart of Newcastle to help them become greener and build a sustainable community.
These businesses are offering a more planet-friendly experience for their customers. Watch for the Green Street window sticker—it’s a mark of their commitment to sustainability to show that these businesses have signed up to the manifesto below.
The Green Street Pioneers initiative is part of the Newcastle High Streets Project funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund with the North East Combined Authority as the lead authority.
