Durham County Council Waste Management provide a large number of collection points, allowing unwanted small electrical and battery operated items to be given a chance of become something new. For items that are unwanted but in good working order, the site provide details of re-use charities.

The Council also supports a number of Repair Cafés and gives advice on setting one up

Why would I want to claim my listing?

Claimed listing allows the owner to update details themselves. They also have direct access to additional features such as: Announcements, Events, FAQ and Image Gallery.

How do I claim my listing

The first step is to complete the claim form with your contact details. We'll verify your claim before setting up an account and letting you know how to login. If you have more than one listing you'll be able to control them from one account. Note: The web site team are volunteers so we can't give a time scale one how long a claim will take to validate.
