Seeds of Change Sunderland (SOCS)

We are a community interest company established to provide education, activities, resources, and information to raise awareness in the local community of environmental issues, and how we can contribute on an individual level to positive change for the planet. We believe sustainable living is achievable and should be accessible for everyone. Nobody can do everything but we can all do something!

SOCS seeks to enable grassroots level change in the local community to support a more sustainable day-to-day living by engaging in a range of activities from upcycled kids craft events to awareness raising on food waste and how to make environmentally friendly cleaning products. SOCS runs a community food pantry stocked by unwanted foods from local supermarkets and provided on a pay as you feel basis to members of the local community.
