With By The Weigh, we hope to provide the residents of Barnard Castle and Teesdale as a whole with an opportunity to reduce their environmental impact by moving away from unnecessary and harmful single-use packaging.

We are now beginning to see the devastating effect climate change is having across the world, but, by reusing and being mindful of our consumption, we can start making a positive change. Teesdale is an area of outstanding natural beauty, visited by many throughout the year, and we hope to try and keep it that way!

Whether you decide to pop in for a full food shop or just to refill your coffee cup and chat, we will be here to help you along the way in your journey towards zero-waste living.
