The Community Growing and Food Network is facilitated by Durham Community Action to bring together organisations with projects or an interest in food growing, gardening and food systems.
The network enables community groups and organisations from all sectors to connect, communicate and collaborate to support each other and share good practice.
Meetings are held quarterly in-person and online – with a particular focus on in-person meetings to showcase community spaces and hold practical workshops.
Why join the network?
Network meetings are a space to share best practice, learn and develop new skills with practical workshops and network with like-minded organisations across the county. Everyone is welcome to showcase what they do or deliver on a topic that is relevant to their organisation.
Previous network meeting themes include topics such as Growing for Wellbeing, Gardens for All, Basic Gardening Skills and Wildlife and Climate Friendly Growing.
By joining our mailing list and Facebook group, you can share and receive relevant updates from the group.
