New Bold Design Limited is an architectural design and project management consultancy, led by the Director, Philip Newbold, which draws on over 40 years’ experience in the public and private sectors encompassing all types of design and construction projects for a wide variety of clients.
For the last ten years or so Philip has taken an increasing interest in low-energy building technologies and energy conservation. Inspired by his former colleague at Devereux Architects, Mark Siddall, he has qualified as a Certified Passivhaus Consultant
This enables New Bold Design to offer advice and design services on sustainable building techniques as well as on-site services to Contractors. We are not experts in renewable technologies but we know people who are, once the insulation and air-tightness credentials of the building fabric have been optimised.
Other areas of specialisation are Accessible Design and Conservation Design
