Durham University Student Volunteering and Outreach

Durham University Student Volunteering and Outreach (DUSVO) is a student-led, community-focused organisation. We’re here to respond to the needs of the local community, and to offer unique volunteer opportunities to Durham students. There are a whole host of things to get involved in whether you want to work with children, adults or animals! DUSVO runs residential trips with children referred through social services, computer classes for the elderly, works with local schools and prisons and much more. We also run projects supporting other students within our own community; these promote mental wellbeing and keeping safe. There are around 40 different projects, which are open to all students and more details about each of them can be found on our website.
