SPACE for Durham
SPACE for Durham stands for Safe Pedestrian and Cycling Environment for Durham. It is a campaign group that comprises residents of Durham and its surroundings, who walk, cycle, use public transport and drive. The aim of the organisation is to promote healthy, liveable, accessible and safe neighbourhoods where walking and cycling are safe, practical and attractive travel options for residents of all ages and abilities. It publishes what candidates standing in elections are saying about cycling and walking issues and has a host of resources for walkers and cyclists.
