The Real Junk Food Project

The real junk food project started as a single Cafe, in Leeds in 2013, and has since grown to be a global network of over 40 organisations. Consisting of cafés, outside catering, events, Sharehouse’s and Fuel For School, all use the Pay As You Feel Concept to utilise surplus food, educate the general public and campaign against global issues that food waste creates.

This includes Durham’s Re-f-use, Newcastle’s The Magic Hat Cafe and Berwick-upon-Tweed’s Northern Soul Kitchen.
